packing guide and begin packing those items you
won’t use before moving.
-Contact the electric, telephone, gas, cable, and waste collection
companies at your new address to arrange the connection of your
services. Additionally, arrange disconnection at your old address.
-Begin arranging your banking services at the new location.
Transfer funds to your new account where necessary.
-Investigate the requirements for automobile registration
and driver’s license acquisition in your new state.
-If you’ll be driving to your new destination, map out
your route and anticipate stops along the way. Double check
hotel reservations, including check in and check out times and
whether they permit pets, if necessary.
